Enjoying the sun-filled Sunday, various members of the Elite League's Cardiff Devils were spotted at Cardiff Castle, soaking up the sun and the polo.
Included in the star-studded group were forwards Sam Smith, Phil Hill, Max Birbraer, Stuart MacRae, Ben Davies and defensemen Alex Symonds. Also making appearances were goaltender Stevie Lyle (although extremely briefly) and the recently traded American star, Jon Pelle, as well as Devils' scout, Brent Pope. Joining the players were a selection of the Devils admin staff and several fans.
Throughout the whole day, the sun shone and the drinks flowed. With something for everyone, no one was disappointed. Between the fast-paced polo, the delicious luncheon, the interesting best dressed contest - judged by Alesha Dixon and Sophie Evans - and getting your feet dirty whilst stomping the divots, no one could even find time to complain about the outrageous heat! Although I'm sure a fair few will be rubbing in the after-sun today...
